10 Year Anniversary Compilation en jubileumfeest in Tivoli Oudegracht

Indielabel Snowstar Records viert in 2013 haar 10 jarig jubileum. Het label van artiesten als I am Oak, Herrek en Kim Janssen brengt op 20 april op Record Store Day een gratis compilatie-album uit met nieuw materiaal van al haar artiesten.
Het Utrechtse Snowstar Records werd in 2003 opgericht door Cedric Muyres en het label staat inmiddels bekend als een ontdekker van kwalitatieve, vaak kalme indiefolk en -popmuziek.
"Ik ben trots dat Snowstar Records in tien jaar tijd is uitgegroeid tot een kwaliteitsmerk dat in de gaten gehouden wordt en dat wil ik dit hele jaar vieren" vertelt labelmanager Muyres.
Dit gebeurt in eerste instantie in de vorm van een cadeau voor muziekliefhebbers; een ’10 Year Anniversary Compilation’ album dat uit zal komen op Record Store Day, de internationale feestdag voor muziekwinkels. Het jubileumalbum, met alleen nieuwe nummers, wordt cadeau gegeven aan de eerste 5000 mensen die op deze dag iets aanschaffen in de onafhankelijke Nederlandse muziekwinkels.
De ’10 Year Anniversary Compilation’ dient als opmaat voor een groot jubileumfeest dat op 13 december 2013 plaats zal vinden in Tivoli Oudegracht te Utrecht.

Indie label Snowstar Records celebrates its 10-year anniversary this year. On April 20 (Record Store Day) the label, known from artists such as I am Oak, Herrek and Kim Janssen, will release a free compilation album with new songs from all their artists.
The Utrecht-based record label was founded in 2003 by Cedric Muyres, and nowadays is known for discovering new and great indiefolk and -pop. "I’m very proud that in ten years time Snowstar Records has grown into a label that guarantees quality-music, and is being followed by many people. This year is a great opportunity to celebrate this.” as labelowner Muyres explains.
The record label will start their festivities with a gift for music lovers; a free ’10 Year Anniversary Compilation’ album, which will be released on Record Store Day, the international day to celebrate record stores. This album, with exclusive new songs, will be presented to the first 5000 people to purchase anything in Dutch independent record stores this day.
The ’10 Year Anniversary Compilation’ serves as a prelude for a big anniversary event, on December 13 in Tivoli Oudegracht, Utrecht.
