Grandmono Records will release the long-expected second album of Caro Emerald called ‘The Shocking Miss Emerald’ on the 3rd of May. The album is produced by David Schreurs and Jan van Wieringen and is the successor of Caro’s successful debut album ‘Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor’ from 2010.
‘Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor’ became 6 times platinum in Holland only, with a total amount of 300.000 copies and spent 30 weeks at the #1 spot (record breaking and longer than the previous record breaking album Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' ). The album received platinum awards in Poland (3 times), Germany, UK and a platinum award in Europe for selling more than 1 million copies. The album was rewarde gold in Switzerland.
The first single of the new album is "Tangled up" and already a top 10 hit in Holland.
