Op 21 november 2011 zal de live registratie van Some Girls tour van The Rolling Stones live in Texas '78 uitkomen op CD en DVD. The Rolling Stones USA tour van 1978 word door de fans gezien als een van hun beste tours. De tour volgde direct na het uitbrengen van het album “Some Girls”, die op #1 stond in de charts ten tijden van deze tour. De tour hanteerde een “back to basics” houding, waarbij vooral de band en de muziek belangrijk waren en het podium een ondergeschikte rol bezat.
