U2 have announced details of a full DVD release of their famed "Zoo TV" tour.
"Zoo TV Live From Sydney" was filmed in 1993 at the Sydney Football Club in Australia by David Mallet. It has only previously been available on video.
It captures the group during their "Achtung Baby" and "Zooropa" era, when U2 fused their new-found approach to more experimental rock music with a spectacular live show.

De Zeeuwse formatie BLF maakt ook voor 2005 aanspraak op de titel "Meest gedraaide Artiest". De succesvolle groep, bestaande uit Paskal Jakobsen, Norman Bonink, Bas Kennis en Peter Slager draait al jaren in de top van deze lijst en wisselde al herhaaldelijk met Marco Borsato van de eerste plaats. Echter, afwijkend van andere jaren is dat de tweede positie van 2005 dit keer niet bestemd is voor Marco Borsato maar voor de enige (vak)vrouw in de lijst, Anouk!

U2 is de grote winnaar van de 48ste Grammy Awards in de USA. U2 won Grammys in de categorien: 'Album of the year', 'Rock album of the year', 'Song of the year' en 'Best Rock Performace' ("Sometimes you can't make it on your own"), "City of Blinding Lights" werd beloond met een Grammy voor 'Best rock song'.
