Het gaat heel goed met Kraak & Smaak, overal uitverkochte zalen in Nederland en reuze succes in het buitenland. Een tour in Amerika, een tour in Australië. Met als hoogtepunt een optreden op de Amerikaanse Nationale Televisie. Een gerenommeerd internationaal boekingskantoor. Het voorprogramma van Faithless in Ahoy. Kortom de tijd is rijp voor wat nieuwe Kraak & Smaak muziek!
De eerste doorbraak van de band was met een remix van Jamiroquai, deze track mag dan ook niet
ontbreken op deze fantastische 2CD vol met remixen van wat wellicht Nederlands beste producerstrio van dit moment is.
In de week van release staan er optredens bij: Giel (3FM), Stenders (3FM) en Evers (Radio 538)

They've proved themselves as one of the finest disco funk outfits on the planet capable of infecting you with their grooves in both a live and studio environment. As the band prepare for another year on the road they've compiled nineteen of their finest remixes for us to chew on. And in doing so they showcase their capabilities and flexibility to the nth degree from the sultry downtempo grooves of the remix of IKON's Do You Dream to their jazzy laid back reworking of Mark Rae's Medicine to the deep disco infused house rubs of Jamiroquai's Electric Mistress and Chris Joss's A Part in that Show. Anything these guys turn their hand to demands a good ass shaking. Some acts excel doing their own music others acts strengths are in remixes. Kraak & Smaak are impeccable at both.

Going Dutch An injection of Kraak and Smaak can perk almost anyone up. Even Jamiroquai whose anaemic tosh benefits immeasurably from having the Dutch trio¹s full-blooded funk flowing through its veins. Mark Rae and Max Sedgley are amongst the other less terminal patients given a through its veins.
