De Australische singer-songwriter en multi-instrumentalist Mick Harvey, bekend van samenwerkingen met PJ Harvey, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, heeft de details bekendgemaakt van zijn nieuwe soloalbum ‘FOUR (Acts of Love)’ die op 29 april uit zal komen.
De opvolger van ‘Sketches from the Book of the Dead’ uit 2011 zal naast eigen werk ook covers bevatten van The Saints, Van Morrison, Exuma en Roy Orbison. 'FOUR (Acts of Love)' is Harvey's zesde solo album. Dit album is een liedjescyclus, verdeeld in 3 aktes. 'FOUR (Acts of Love)' is een bezinning over de romantische liefde - het is verlies, opnieuw ontwaken, onze voortdurende strijd met haar en haar plaats in ons universum.
