Na 10 jaar nieuw studioalbum van Stevie Nicks

Rock ‘n Roll koningin en lid van Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks, brengt op 29 april haar nieuwe studioalbum getiteld ´In Your Dreams´ uit. Haar eerste album in maar liefst 10 jaar is mede geproduceerd door voormalig lid van Eurythmics, Dave Stewart, en Grammy award winnaar Glen Ballard (o.a. Alanis Morissette, Dave Matthews Band).

De eerste single van het album heet ´Secret Love´. Het nummer is de uiteindelijke versie van een demo die al rond 1976 is opgenomen. ´In Your Dreams´ is volledig geschreven en opgenomen in Stevie Nicks’ huis in Los Angeles en bevat onder andere bijdragen van Lindsey Buckingham, Waddy Wachtel, Sharon Celani en Lori Nicks.

"This was one of the most extraordinary experiences I've had making a record. It is the first album that I have had this kind of collaboration since the making of 'Rumours.' Dave created a situation where I could be totally creative and focused on writing songs and making music. I cannot remember ever having this much fun making a record. Writing the songs and recording them in my home studio was the key element in how this music turned out. It made the whole process seem very similar to how we used to work back in the day."

´In Your Dreams´ is de opvolger van het succesvolle studioalbum uit 2001 ´Trouble in Shangri-La´, de collectie ´Crystal Visions´ (2007) en het live album ´Live in Chicago – The Soundstage Sessions´ (2009).
