Afgelopen nacht (16 januari) werd het vierdaagse verjaardagsfeest van de 30 jaar bestaande Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen afgesloten. De Popprijs voor 2015 werd uitgereikt aan New Wave.
Ook tijdens deze editie, tussen 13 en 16 januari, bleef het Europese muziekplatform trouw aan de eigen missie om de circulatie van Europese muziek te bevorderen.
