10-02-2009 @ 14:37

Grammy Awards voor Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals, Best Country Collaboration With Vocals, en Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album
Rapper Lil Wayne ging naar huis met vier Awards voor: Best Rap Album, Best Rap Solo Performance, Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group, en Best Rap Song. Coldplay won 3 Awards voor Song Of The Year, Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals en Best Rock Album.
De groep speelde hun nieuwste single "Get On Your Boots".
Verder waren er o.a. optredens van Kid Rock, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, the Jonas Brothers samen met Stevie Wonder, Kanye West, M.I.A. samen met o.a. T.I., Jay-Z, Lil Wayne.
